New York, 9/11.
I was nine when it happened. I was sitting in 4th grade when the teachers addressed the class and asked if any of our parents worked in the city. If so, we were to come with the staff for there had been a horrible plane crash. I remember the fear that went through my body. My dad is a NYPD detective so I thought he may have been in danger. The teacher had us call our parents to get a hold of them....
